Nov.  2006 -- An Interesting Development.  Just around midnight we received 4 photos from a credible news photographer.  They were very revealing to say the least.  There was no notation that said "do not print."  There were a lot of questions asked.  And many to be answered. Not about the shooter.  But about the Mom - the well known role model / worldwide celeb Britney Spears. Was it a Judgement call ?  Well maybe. 
One Editor brought up the issue of a Custody Trial on the horizon for the Pop Star and how this latest flash would play.  Our Editorial Director raised the question of what would this young lady's children think and how they would view this event when they are young teenagers or adults raising their own child.  Have an opinion ?  That's for you to decide.  Our job is to simply document history as it happens upon us. So there it is. By the way, we are being kind.  The pics were sent to us without the blacked out circles.  
Considering all this we decided to float around the web and see how the subject matter was coming up on the search engines.  You know, journalistic curiosity.  We found some news stories on the bare -eyebrow raising- images  and only saw one of the pictures appear.  A number of editors from news resources had what to say about the gossip going around.  We then looked at some of the comments made by the general public.  There were the typical trash brain meatheads out there doing the expected sleeze. One of them even offered to shave Britney with his teeth.  Of course there were some intelligent minded people also.  America does still have some of them around you know.  But what was seen in the outcome is that some people did not even believe there were 4 photographs.  Only a single shot that seems to be showing a bit of what the hoopla is all about.  History should not be short changed. That gives us a moral obligation to set the record straight. As one might say: so there you have it.  Now you decide what you think or feel about all of this.  It could be your son or daughter that gets a peek at the raw shots. And what if they are only 12 or 13 years old ?  Does it make a difference ??? Again you decide.  Is Britney all that hot ?  Guess it is not just about a pretty face this time.

THE EDITORIAL:
Having seen the Britney Spears nude photographs - as they were sent "unaltered"  bare - from a well known worldwide news photographer, all that can be said is: "it's an explosive shot below the belt" in the life of the blond bombshell.  For a Family Court Judge sitting on the bench in Britney Spears' upcoming custody trial, one would think, this show of it all may go against her - female or not. This time a woman will not win just because she is female or a celeb with tons of money.  A judge will want to see more.  Not of her pictures or her bare parts.  He or she will want to see more of how all this demonstrates the acts of a "responsible parent."  As the question was raised, what will her children really think of Britney when they grow up and see this - as it was seen in public ???  One of the tests of being a good parent, in a Court of Law or civilized society, would be "Moral Fortitude" - and Britney seems to have lost it here or does not / did not seem to care.  Otherwise she would have had her pants on (before there was an open door or public airing).  Maybe this truly confirms she doesn't wear the pants in the family.  The questions asked next were "where were her children while this was happening and who was watching them ?"  Good question.  Inquiring minds want to know. The matter of the nude below the belt photographs are Simple. If you are IN PUBLIC and you rank being a celebrity, public figure, or news worthy person - if you show it ...  the public has the right to see it. It says a lot about you personally.  And it goes with celebrity gossip.  Good, bad, or indifferent.  It really does show what you are made of.  In many ways !!!
